Calanthe griffithii Lindl. – a species described by Sir J.D.Hooker in 1890 as a native of “Bhotan Himalaya”. King and Pantling were not able to locate the species during their monumental work in the region of Sikkim-Himalayas. However, this author was able to locate the species from the region during his study.
