Those roots provide the plant with support as well as absorb nutrients.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"s1\">However, there are a set of aerial (air) roots in certain orchid species. Aerial roots arise along the length of the stem.
